Golf: Volvo Masters cut short by weather
The Volvo Masters in Spain has become a 54-hole event after strong winds interrupted play on the third day in Spain.
There was only enough time for the second round to be completed and then for six shots to be played in the third round before tournament director David Garland called the players in just after 11.30am.
Paul McGinley, having reached halfway on the nine under par mark of 135, leads by two from Swede Mathias Gronberg, with McGinley's fellow Irishmen Darren Clarke and Padraig Harrington one stroke further back.
