Golf: Struver takes one-shot lead into final round
Sven Struver compiled a brilliant 64 to take a one-shot cushion over France’s Gregory Havret into the final day of the Atlanet Italian Open.
The German carded six birdies and an eagle to end the day on 18 under par with Havret on 17 under after three birdies in his last four holes for a 68.
Struver has won three times on the tour but his last victory came in 1998 and he admitted: ‘‘It’s been a really frustrating and disappointing year.
‘‘I’d love to win and I really want to but we will have to see what happens tomorrow.’’
