Golf: McGinley leads by two at St Andrews
Paul McGinley leads the field by two strokes at the Dunhill Links Championship.
Back-to-back eagles for the Dubliner on the famous course gave him a personal best score of 64 yesterday to leave him on 13 under par, two shots clear of Brian Davis and Tony Johnstone.
Padraig Harrington is the other Irish name on the leader board; he is tied for fourth spot with Jamie Donaldson. Darren Clarke also enjoyed a good day after a disappointing performance on the opening day; he lies on five under par.
It was not such a good day for Des Smyth and David Higgins, carding their second respective rounds of 74 and 72.
