Golf: Fintona Pro-Am - Walker cards course record

Dundalk professional Leslie Walker carded a course record of 66 to win the £6,000 Fintona Pro-Am tournament but still had only oine stroke to spare over Stephen Hamill and John Langan.

Walker, who dropped a shot at the second hole then made eight birdies between the third and 15th to be seven under par but bunnker trouble lost him a stroke at the short 17th where he failed to get up and down.

The previous course record was five under par 67.
