Golf: Clarke opens up two-strokes lead

Darren Clarke, with five birdies and one bogey on his outward run, has opened a two-strokes lead at the top of the European Open leaderboard.

After 62 holes, Clarke is 13 under par with Mikael Lundberg, Ian Woosan, Henrik Bjornstad and Padraig Harrington at 11 under.

Harrington birdied the ninth hole.

US Masters champion Ratief Goosen is in the clubhouse at 10 under after a round of 66.

Also at 10 under out on the course are Thomas Levet, Ricardo Gonzalez and Jarmo Sandelin.
