Golf: Clarke in three-way tie for lead

Darren Clarke has leaped into a share of the lead after a three-birdie run from the fourth hole.

Darren Clarke has leaped into a share of the lead at the European Open at the K-Club after a three-birdie run from the fourth hole.

Clarke is now at 12 under par - the same as Jarmo Sandelin, who birdied the fourth hole and Henrik Bjornstad, who has had one bogey and two birdies in his first six holes.

Overnight leader Mikael Lundberg has dropped a shot to go back to 11 under par while Padraig Harrington has started with six straight pars and remains at 10 under.
