Colin Montgomery goes into the last round tomorrow with a three shot lead of Scott.
When Monty made his third bogey of the round at the 13th hole, he and Scott were level at 11 under par but Scott who had six birdie 66 dropped a stroke at the last hole to finish 10 under.
Monty finished stronger with birdie three at the 14th and number two at the 17th for a round of 68 which contained six birdies to be 13 under with 18 holes left to play.
Joint third at eight under are Emerson, Wall and Henge.
It was a good day for three of the Irish players who survived the cut last night through points.
Clarke returned a 65 to be six under the same as Harrington who carded a 68.
McGinley had a 66 to be five under for the tounament and Darcy is on level par.
