Colin Montgomerie's lead at the top of the leaderboard has been cut to one stroke by Australian Adam Scott, who is in outright second place at 10 under par after today's third round.

Montgomerie had gone to 13 under after six holes today but dropped shots at the seventh and tenth before swapping a birdie three at the twelfth and bogey four at the fourteenth.

Third place is held by Gary Emerson on 8 under par
