Colin Montgomerie made three birdies in-a-row from the fourth hole to move to 13 under but he slipped up at the short seventh and is currently 12 under.

He is four shots ahead of Adam Scott (Australia), Englishmen Anthony Wall and Gary Emerson and, Marc Farry from France.

Padraig Harrington is 6 under par for the tournament with three holes to complete having had five birdies and two bogies in today's round.
