Golf: Irwin eyes fixed on Major title

Hale Irwin proved that golf's golden oldies aren't just there to make up the numbers after setting the pace in the storm-affected US Open first round at Tulsa.

At the age of 56 and now 11 years on from being the oldest winner, Irwin went into the second day two shots clear of the field.
