Golf: Meeting called to discuss tour findings

A compulsory meeting of European tour players was being held at Wentworth this afternoon - on the eve of the Volvo PGA championship - to hear details of the independent audit of the tour’s affairs.

Last October Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer and Jose Maria Olazabal received the backing of over 50 other players in calling for the audit, with Olazabal saying: ‘‘We just want to know where the money is going.’’
