Golf: Garcia fined £2,500

Sergio Garcia is reported to have been fined around IR£2,500 over his show of temper at the Greg Norman Holden International in Sydney three months ago.

Official confirmation of the European tour's action is being awaited this afternoon in spite of the fact that director of tour operations David Garland said last night that the matter had been deferred until July.
