Golf: Leinster held to draw
On the opening day fo the 2001 interpros, holders Leinster were held to a draw by Ulster who finished last at Thurles 12 months ago.
Gary Maybin was the player who snatched a draw for Ulster when he beat Tom Higgins from Moate by 2and1 after carding a vital birdie at the long 15th hole.
Munster, third last year, had a massive 7-2 win over Connacht.
