Golf: Higgins joint first at Portuguese Open

Ireland's David Higgins has finished his round at the top of the leaderboard at the Portuguese Open.

The Kerryman is one of three on six under in the clubhouse, the others being England's David Lynn and Sweden's Niclas Fasth.

Higgins has already finished eighth in Qatar this year.

Gary Murphy and Paul McGinley also finished on one under, while Ronan Rafferty and Padraig Harrington are on three under after six and two under after three respectively.
