Golf: McGinley takes an early lead in the Morrocan open

Paul McGinley has taken an early lead in the Moroccan open, this week's event on the European tour.

McGinley is one stroke ahead of the field after an opening round of 67.

England's Neil Cheetham fired a five-under-par 68.

Cheetham carded seven birdies and two bogeys around the testing par-73 Dar Es Salam course.

Scoring was excellent in the perfect conditions with four more players, including Philip Walton, on five under at various stages in his rounds.
