Golf: Leonard leads after day one of Great Northern Hotel Tournament

European seniors tour player Paul Leonard took the lead after the first day’s play in the 54 holes Great Northern Hotel Tournament at Bundoran.

Leonard shot a one under par 69 and is one stroke ahead of four players while last year’s winner Kevin Morris from Fota Island is a further shot back on 71 in a group of five.
