Golf: Mediate takes over Masters lead

Campbell bogeyed the fourth and instead it was American Rocco Mediate who led thanks to birdies at the first two holes.

Lyle remained one under after five and joint second but Lawrie bogeyed the 435-yard fifth to be one over and Nick Faldo three-putted the first after coming up 30 feet short with his approach.

Jesper Parnevik bogeyed it as well but Ian Woosnam and Sergio Garcia, playing together, were off with two pars.
