Golf: Smyth starts third round in Madeira Island Open

Des Smyth is starting around now in the third round of the Madeira Island Open.

Smyth, 48, stands on eight under par, four shots behind the leader Niclas Fasth of Sweden.

Philip Walton is two under after nine holes and Paddy Gribben is one under after six.
