Malaysian Open: Harrington expecting little at Malaysia Open

Padraig Harrington does not expect to continue his amazing run of results at Malaysia's Carlsberg Open, when he tees off at the Saujana Golf Club near Kuala Lumpur this week.

Harrington has finished fourth and second in the last two years, so the logical progression would be a place on the winner's rostrum.

However, he fears that his golf will be somewhat rusty because he has not played competitively since the Accenture World Match Play in early January.

"I had four weeks at home doing a bit of practice and went to see Bob (Torrance - his coach) a couple of times, twice in the snow!" he commented.

Despite ruling himself out of contention, Harrington is third favourite for the 163,655 euros (£103,800) first prize, behind Fiji's Masters champion Vijay Singh and New Zealand's Michael Campbell, who has already won this year.
