Henrik Stenson bounced back from his US Open frustrations to claim his 10th European Tour title at the rain-hit BMW International Open at Pulheim.

The Swede, forced to miss the second major of the year last week through injury, held his nerve to claim a three-shot victory at Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof by firing a final-round 71.

That winning effort, which took him to a final total of 17 under par, came after he hit 67 in his rain-delayed third round in the morning.
