Fitzpatrick’s pro debut at Irish Open

Reigning US Amateur champion and Open Championship silver medallist Matthew Fitzpatrick has chosen the Irish Open for his professional debut.

Fitzpatrick, 19 and from Sheffield, has signed with International Sports Management and the US Open at Pinehurst will mark his final tournament as an amateur before turning pro at Fota Island the following week on June 19.
