Presidents Cup format set for change

There has been a push to overhaul the points structure and Internationals captain Nick Price championed the need for the more compact Ryder Cup format. Price was reluctant to speak out on Sunday, preferring to focus on the brilliant play of the USA at Muirfield.

Asked whether there were any changes he would like to see, Price replied: “Oh, yes, there’s lots of changes but I don’t think we should discuss those now.

Adam Scott added: “I’ve been pretty open about what I believe should happen with the event and I don’t think that’s changed.” Scott has never been on a triumphant Internationals team in six attempts.
