Mickelson: Bradley made of stern stuff

The ball was still rattling around the bottom of the cup when Keegan Bradley stuck his hand out, a big grin on his face.

Phil Mickelson reached into his pocket and pulled out a wad of bills. Bradley grabbed the cash and held it up to the laughing crowd.

He won the very first major he played in. A few years before that, he spent his last $1,200 on an entry fee and won the tournament.
