Wild Thing set for Irish Open
The controversial double Major winner tweeted on Saturday: “yes, I will be playing these tournys in order: Colonial, St Jude, BMW Germany, Irish Open then back for a long haul in the US #woopig.”
He will be joined at Royal Portrush — from June 28 to July 1 — by fellow American and reigning USPGA champion, Keegan Bradley, who has never played a professional tournament in Europe.
It means three of the four players to hold major titles at the moment will be there, the other two being local heroes Rory McIlroy and Darren Clarke.
