Grace wins as McGrane falls away

Branden Grace claimed the Volvo China Open title as a final-round 69 left him three shots clear of the rest of the field.

The 23-year-old South African, who won two European Tour events on native soil at the start of the year, carded four birdies against one bogey to triumph at the Binhai Lake Golf Club in Tianjin.

Ireland’s Damien McGrane closed with a fine 68, but the damage had been done in the middle two rounds and he finished nine shots off the leader.
