Forget Rory and Tiger, the 76th Masters delivered golf fans a thrilling clash of styles at Augusta National last night as the raw, creative talent of left-hander Bubba Watson was pitted against the stylish right-hander Louis Oosthuizen.

It was a shame either had to get the edge such was the excitement and enjoyment both golfers gave this tournament on an exhilarating final day in Georgia but that they took this first major of the year to the second hole of a sudden-death play-off was compensation enough.
