Take the dilemma facing golf’s finest as they pondered whether to take part in the Hong Kong Open, the final counting event on the European Tour before the decisive Dubai World Championship on December 11-14; the Chevron World Challenge in Los Angeles hosted by Tiger Woods or the Nedbank Challenge at Sun City in South Africa. Combined prize money in the three events, all beginning on Thursday, comes to a whopping €9.6m.
