Murphy’s ‘Big Break’ victory has changed his life

KERRY native Mark Murphy believes his life has changed after he won The Golf Channel’s Big Break Ireland series.

The hit reality show, in it’s 16th season, was filmed at the K Club in Straffan with 12 players battling to win an $80,000 (€59,687) cheque and two Tour exemptions.

The Waterville Golf Club member defeated Julien Trudeau in 19 holes in the final which secured him the top prize along with spots in the Irish Open and Hassan II Golf Trophy.
