TWELVE months ago, Pádraig Harrington ended a two-year title drought when he won the Iskandar Johor Open in Malaysia.

He shot 20 under par on the Asian tour event to beat the talented young Korean, Noh Seung-yul, by three shots with KJ Choi, Retief Goosen and Colin Montgomerie among those down the field.

Given the lack of silverware in the intervening year, Harrington is anxious to defend his title in an event which is now co-sanctioned on the European Tour.
