Ireland’s other fab four

THE four big guns of Irish golf hogged the pre-tournament headlines and, in truth, most of the galleries, but there’s another quartet of Irish men who turned heads in Killarney yesterday.

Ireland’s other fab four

So how did amateurs Paul Cutler, Alan Dunbar, Kevin Phelan and Dermot McElroy fare? How about this: -2, -1, +1 and +1 respectively, one shot better on aggregate than the combined total of Messrs McDowell, Clarke, Harrington and McIroy.
