And there is the possibility of both Maguire twins bagging medals as sister Leona, the Irish Open strokeplay champion, is lurking dangerously in fourth spot.
Lisa added a one over par 73 to her 73 and 68 for a 54-hole aggregate of 214 — two under par.
Lisa’s nearest challenger is French competitor Perrine Delacour, with Charlotte Kring Lorentzen and Leona Maguire just behind.
Leona matched the par of 72 and is on 220- she parred all nine holes on the homeward half and had two halves of 36.
Stephanie Meadow from Royal Portrush goes into the last round in seventh spot on 224 while Royal County Down’s Danielle McVeigh picked up after two disappointing rounds, returning a 74 to add to scores of 80 and 77. Charlene Reid ,Emma O.Driscoll and Gillian O’Leary all missed the 54-hole cut.
In the European Young Masters Championship at the Royal Balaton Club in Hungary, Irish medal hopes disappeared with lack-lustre performances.
In the boys competition Paul McBride is joint 16th with rounds of 78 and 77, while Luke Woods is further back after scores of 81 and 80.
In the girls event both Olivia Mehaffey and Hannah Henderson are well off the pace after scores of 83 and 85 yesterday.
