Westwood ticks off Rory for Tiger taunt

LEE WESTWOOD believes Rory McIlroy is making a mistake by writing off Tiger Woods.

McIlroy caused a stir this week when he suggested in a Sports Illustrated column that a struggling Woods may never recapture his old dominance.

McIlroy wrote: “Tiger is not playing as well as he was even a couple of years ago, never mind going back to the late 1990s and early 2000s, when he was at his best.
