Olly to lead Europe in Ryder Cup 2012

JOSE MARIA OLAZABAL will be named Europe’s next Ryder Cup captain next month. A press conference is scheduled for January 18 in Abu Dhabi, where the European Tour’s four-week Middle East swing begins two days later.

Reports in the US suggest Davis Love III, the former US PGA champion, a vice captain to Corey Pavin at Celtic Manor, will be named US captain for Medinah in 2012.
