Harrington looked like missing the halfway cut in the inaugural Asian and European Tour event when he dropped down the board to five over par through nine holes.

Included in that was a bogey at his ninth when he found a water hazard with his drive. But a superb par putt at his 10th hole revitalised the triple Major winner as he proceeded to birdie his 11th, 13th, 15th and 16th holes in a 69 for a one over par tally.
