‘No going back’ for struggling Harrington

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON has just over a fortnight before he defends his British Open title but the struggling triple Major winner declared there is no turning back from the changes he is introducing into his game.

Harrington spent four hours yesterday in hot conditions on the National Club course before later heading out onto the French Open host venue for a nine-hole practice round in the company of fellow Irish players Peter Lawrie and Gary Murphy.

But while on the practice range of the 2018 Ryder Cup candidate venue, Harrington was observed trying out four different drivers and then after a luncheon break, a Wilson Staff tour rep brought him five wedges to try.
