MOBILE Phone giant ‘3’ are to sponsor Irish Open champion Shane Lowry.

Lowry, who make his professional debut in the European Open at London Golf Club this week, will wear the company’s logo on his shirt collar.

Lowry expressed delight at the deal. He said: “As winner of the inaugural ‘3’ Irish Open, it is fitting to announce 3 as my first commercial partner as a professional golfer.
