Limerick Pro-Am promises glitz and glamour for charity

Thursday’s daylight action will see a prize fund of €20,000 shared between the cream of the country’s PGA golf professionals. The evening entertainment, hosted by the golf club and the Limerick branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland centres around a Midsummer Night Gala Ball held on the golf course grounds.

Proceeds from both events will go to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) for the ongoing maintenance and development of the first dementia Respite Centre in Ireland to be located outside the Dublin area.
