RYDER Cup skipper Ian Woosnam has challenged his players to emulate their team success as individuals – by winning majors.

Woosnam passed through Heathrow airport yesterday with the trophy in his hands alongside a handful of the 12-strong team who returned to London.

The 48-year-old expects Europe’s dominance of the competition to continue thanks to the age of the team but insists it is also time for them make an impact in the majors.
