Date for GAA golf classic announced

THE fourth Cork GAA Players Fund Golf Classic will be held at Muskerry Golf Club on Friday, May 19.

County board chair Mick Dolan said: “We believe our package which includes golf at this prestigious course, meal and acknowledgement on souvenir literature offers excellent value for the entry free of €1,000 for a team of four and will prove to be an enjoyable means of entertaining clients business acquaintances or friends. The presence of a number of GAA personalities will add to the sociability.”

A classic will also be held at Powerscourt Golf Club on Thursday, May 18 for Dublin-based supporters. The event is sponsored by O2 with the Irish Examiner as media sponsors and Staunton Foods as associate sponsors.
