Sisters chosen

Carlow sisters Karen and Tara Delaney have gained places on the Irish girls team for the Home international series at Hermitage, Dublin from August 13-15.

Other members are: Dawn Marie Conaty, Ashbourne, Amy Duggan, Killarney, Alison Kingston, Bandon, Heather Nolan, Shannon, Sinéad O’Sullivan, Galway and Catherine Tucker, Shannon. Reserves: Ann Marie Dalton, Coollattin, Joanne Cronin, Killarney and Danielle McVeigh, Royal County Down. Team captain: Evelyn Hearn, Waterford; manager Bridget Gleeson Healy, Killarney.
