Fixing Faxon to miss PGA Tour season

Brad Faxon is to undergo surgery on his left knee and will miss the remainder of the 2005 PGA Tour season.

Faxon, who injured his knee early in the 2004 season, has played with the injury for almost two years.

“I am disappointed to have to end my season, but my knee has been bothering me for the better part of the year,” said Faxon.
