McGovern slips out of contention

HEADFORT’S Brendan McGovern slipped off the pace going into today’s final round of the Glenmuir Club Professional Championship at Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.

The 39-year-old added another 75 for a three-round aggregate of 221, leaving him in a share of 20th place. Welshman Simon Edwards shares the lead with Scot Fraser Mann, after a superb seven under 66 yesterday.
