Love, Romero and Immelman join McManus Pro-Am field

Love was a four-time winner on the 2003 PGA Tour, with victories in The Players Championship, MCI Heritage, the International and the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Last year he was runner up to Tiger Woods in the WGC Accenture Match Play and to Todd Hamilton in the Honda Classic. Love also qualified for his sixth Ryder Cup appearance at Oakland Hills last year, where he won one and half points from his five outings. However, 1997 was Love’s greatest win when he captured the US PGA Championship.

Argentinean Romero continues to challenge at the very top of the game, narrowly missing out to England’s Barry Lane in the British Masters and finishing joint third in the Omega European Masters. He won the 2002 Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond, his eighth European Tour title.

Immelman is a former winner of the South African Airways Open and last year the Deutsche Bank Open, which helped him finish 16th on the Volvo Order of Merit, the third successive year he had finished in the top 20.

The trio join a field of top players who have already committed to play in the event. Among those confirmed are Tiger Woods; Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Thomas Bjorn, Luke Donald, Pádraig Harrington, Fred Couples and Mark O’Meara.
