Cork golfers bid for place in Spain

A REGIONAL final at Fota Island and an All-Ireland decider at Druids Heath, Wicklow stand between Cork golfers and a trip to Spain in October.

Fota (May 24) is one of 27 regional play-off venues throughout Ireland from which the leading male and female fourball pairs will go on to contest the All-Ireland series on August 30. After that, 10 pairs will play the grand final at the Los Flamingos Golf Club, near Estepona, Spain on October 9/16, staying in the luxury five-star Kempinski Resort Hotel.
