Dunmurry captures Club of the Year accolade
The award and development grants totalling €7,500 was presented to the club at a function in AIB Bankcentre, Dublin last night.
Category All-Ireland awards were also presented to Charlesland, Elm Park, Bantry Bay and Dunmurry.
A further 16 provincial awards were also presented.

All-Ireland Category Awards: Junior Golf (Dunmurry); Environment (Charlesland), Clubhouse/Course Presentation (Elm Park); Communications (Bantry Bay).
The AIB Golf Club of the Year awards scheme is a joint venture between AIB, the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies Golf Union.
The scheme was set up to focus on the many non “ playing aspects of a golf club that are essential to the long term success of the club.
AIB General Manager, Billy Andrews, said they were delighted to be involved with both the GUI and the ILGU in a scheme which, he believed, was be of major benefit to golf in Ireland.
GUI president, Michael O’Donoghue, and ILGU president, Ita Butler also welcomed the scheme.
Provincial category winners:
Connacht - Claremorris (Junior Golf), Co. Sligo (Environment), Portumna (Clubhouse/Course), Galway (Communications).
Leinster - Tullamore (junior), Charlesland (environment), Elm Park (clubhouse/course), Carlow (communications).
Munster - Mallow (junior), East Clare (environment), Tralee (clubhouse/course), Bantry (communications).
Ulster - Dunmurry (junior), Ballyliffin (environment), Carnalea (clubhouse/course), Clones (communications).
