Argentine winner in Seniors Tour

Argentinean Luis Carbonetti swept to his second victory of the season on the European Seniors Tour when he claimed the Bovis Lend Lease European Senior Masters at Woburn Golf & Country Club yesterday.

The little known man from Buenos Aires carded a final round of one under par 71 to finish two strokes ahead of Scotland's John Chillas. Ireland's Eamonn Darcy was four behind the leader on 213 while Denis O'Sullivan was another four further back on 217.

Darcy, the first round leader, looked to be heading for a second place finish but bogeyed the final two holes to finish joint fourth along with Scotland's Bill Longmuir.
