Two for tee at Amex WGC

PLAY in the Amex WGC Championship at Mount Juliet on Thursday will start at 11.30am.

There will be a two tee start from both the 1st and 10th tees because the organisers wish to reduce the risk of any major change in weather conditions which might significantly affect the outcome of the first day’s play.

The scores at the end of the first round determine the order of play for the second, as Championship director Peter Adams explained: “A two tee start gives the best possible chance for all the players to complete their rounds in similar conditions, thus giving them a more equal chance.”
