IRISH golf fans are in for a real treat at Carton House today when the Nissan Irish Open hots up.

Ireland’s two top stars, Padraig Harrington and Darren Clarke, ranked 9th and 13th in the world, tee off together at 11.07.

Gary Murphy, the Kilkenny man attached to the Heritage club near Portlaoise, will have the pleasure of partnering twice Masters champion Jose-Maria Olazabal.
