"I had a nightmare today," said Walton, "but I'll definitely be concentrating on the Challenge Tour for the rest of the season. I think it's the best way for me to get back to The European Tour and the standard of player out here is really high I don't see much difference between the two Tours to be honest with you."

Englishman Matthew Morris put on a mighty display of resistance to complete a fantastic wire to wire victory the first win of his professional career that places him in 10th position on the European Challenge Tour Rankings.

Gavin McNeill from Waterford finished two shots better off than Walton after a final round 73.
