Walton well off the pace

PHILLIP WALTON’S Challenge Tour debut at the Nykredit Danish Open ended in disappointment with a final round 79 for an 11 over par aggregate.

But he vowed to keep playing on the Challenge Tour as he bids to regain his European Tour Card.

"I had a nightmare today," said Walton, "but I'll definitely be concentrating on the Challenge Tour for the rest of the season. I think it's the best way for me to get back to The European Tour and the standard of player out here is really high I don't see much difference between the two Tours to be honest with you."
