Harrington set to tee-up at St Margaret's

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON has confirmed he will tee-up in the €127,000 PGA Irish Region Championship at St Margaret's, Dublin, on April 15 to 18.

The World No 8 met Tournament Controller Peader McParland at Sawgrass last weekend, and gave the green light to one of the oldest professional championships in the world.

Harrington will not compete in the new European Tour event in Spain. Sadly, the Spanish tournament takes titleholder Paul McGinley out of the Irish Championship.
